I really appreciated Marlan checking in on me often, knowing I get seasick easily. Since our Airbnb was close to Rodney Marina, we didn’t have the option for a pickup. But when Marlan found out we were staying in Gros Islet, he said, “Why didn’t you say something? I live there and could’ve given you a ride instead of you paying for a driver to take you to the marina!” Then, as we were leaving, he offered us a ride again when he saw us.
